About Us

Most people come to us with a straightforward problem. Their back hurts. Their shoulders are tight. They're tired at the end of the day in a way that sleep doesn't fully fix. And somewhere along the way they started wondering whether a massage chair might actually help.

That's a reasonable thing to wonder. A good massage chair, used regularly, can make a real difference for chronic lower back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder tension, and general stress that lives in the body. The research on this is solid. So is the feedback from people who own one and use it daily.

The harder question is which chair. And that's where most people get stuck.

How we can help

Goodwin carries a curated selection of massage chairs across a range of price points, body types, and therapeutic needs. We don't carry every brand on the market. We carry the ones we'd recommend without hesitation to someone we know.

If you're not sure where to start, our buyer's guide is a good first step. It walks through the six decisions that matter most when buying a massage chair, written in plain English. It takes about ten minutes to read and saves a lot of guesswork.

If you have specific questions after that, we're reachable by email and phone. We'd rather you ask than guess your way into the wrong chair.

Why authorized dealer status matters

At this price point, you should know whether the seller is an authorized dealer for the brand you're buying.

When a brand authorizes a dealer, your manufacturer's warranty is valid and enforceable. Your chair was sourced through legitimate channels. If something goes wrong a year from now, you have a clear path to support. When you buy from an unauthorized seller, you often have none of that, regardless of what the listing says.

Ask any retailer plainly: are you an authorized dealer for this brand? The answer should be specific and verifiable. If you're not sure, most manufacturers publish a current list of authorized dealers on their own website.

What we carry and why

The massage chair market is large and uneven. There are excellent chairs at several price points and there are overpriced ones with impressive spec sheets that don't deliver proportionally better results. We've tried to stock a selection that covers the main use cases honestly.

SL-track chairs for people with lower back and hip pain. 4D roller systems for those who want deeper, more targeted work. Zero gravity options for spinal decompression and circulation. Japanese-engineered chairs for buyers who want the best available build quality regardless of cost.

Each product page explains what a chair is good at and who it's best suited for. We think that's more useful than listing features without context.

A straightforward promise

We're a small operation. We're not going to pretend otherwise. What we can offer is a carefully chosen selection, honest product information, and responsive support when you need it.

If you buy from us and the chair isn't right, we'll work with you on it. The return policy is written in plain language on the site. No surprises.
